Procedure of hair transplant
It is simple procedure that consists of two steps; extracting hair grafts and planting them. A surgeon can extract hair grafts through strip harvesting or follicular unit extraction. In strip harvesting a strip of scalp donates hair grafts while in FUE surgeon takes out hair grafts directly from the scalp.
How much time does one hair transplant session require?
Amount of time that a hair transplant session would take depends upon the number of grafts that you want to transplant. If you have a small bald patch that you want to conceal then your hair transplant would take a few hours. Many surgeons arrange a small break during hair transplant session to ease patient make him feel comfortable. The break lasts for 15-25 minutes and the patient is allowed to have something to eat and walk.
However, larger hair transplant sessions may last for two days. In such cases the patient needs a combination of strip harvesting and FUE as larger number of grafts is needed. First day surgeon performs strip removal and the patient goes back to home. The next day surgeon performs FUE and the hair transplant completes.
Will the transplanted hair look natural?
It is a major concern of many patients. In fact, hair transplant does not give you artificial hair but natural hair and natural looking results. No one could ever guess that you have grown them from moved hair follicles.
Hair transplant is an excellent procedure that provides you a way to travel back and enjoy your hair once again. So are you ready to have your hair done?
