Are the Hair Transplant Results Permanent?

hair-transplant-men Hair transplant is quite a great success with its ability to redistribute your hair to conceal any bald patch(s). Due to the continuous efforts on the part of researchers and surgeons, the surgery has refined a lot. Introduction of new methods have made hair transplant more alluring as they do not inherit the down sides of the old procedures.

Old vs. new methods
There are two methods of donor hair harvesting that are widely used in hair transplants.
Strip removal: also known as follicular unit transplantation (FUT), it is an old method for obtaining donor hair. It extracts hair grafts from a strip of scalp tissues, extracted from the back of the scalp. Although it is a traditional approach but is still used because it makes it possible to transplant larger number of hair grafts in a single session.
Follicular unit extraction: it extracts individual hair grafts from an area of the scalp where they are in abundance and plants them in a bald or balding patch. Being a modern technique, it does not have many side effects that the traditional FUT has, like FUE does not leave a linear scar, gives minimum downtime and minimal risks.
Are the Hair Transplant Results Permanent?
Yes, hair transplant results are always permanent. People who have regrown their hair through hair transplant enjoy their hair through the rest of their lives. It does not mean that they do not have hair fall. In fact, they do have hair fall but it is, most likely, from the untreated areas.
Notice that hair transplant moves your hair grafts. It would essentially mean that if you have lost your hair ever, they will definitely grow again from the grafts, until you lose your hair grafts, also.
Hair transplant is an amazing procedure that not only gives you hair but also a youthful and complete appearance that enhances your self-confidence and self-esteem.
